How to make it

  • For both recipes, just add everything* to your slow cooker(spray with no cook spray) and cook on low for at least 4 hours, but for as long as you want to deepen the colors and flavors. You can also take the lid off the slow cooker and stir well after the 4 hours is up, to thicken.
  • Taste at that time and adjust to your tastes with more vinegar, honey or brown sugar or cayenne or hot pepper flakes, etc.
  • ***Please note: If using the whiskey please add at the very end of cooking.
