Farro And Mushrooms

- 1 cup of farro shopping list
- 3 cups liquid of choice ( water or broth ) shopping list
- 1 box mushrooms sliced shopping list
- 1 onion diced shopping list
- 1 clove of garlic shopping list
- olive oil shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- optional: other cooked vegetables, fresh herbs, grated cheese ) shopping list
How to make it
- Bring water and farro to a boil
- Cover and cook till al dente ( 45-60 minutes) depends whether you chose to soak the farro in water over night
- Drain off any excess liquid
- While farro is cooking, saute mushrooms, onion and garlic in olive oil
- When farro is cooked and dained add the mushroom mixture and season to taste
