How to make it

  • Bring water and farro to a boil
  • Cover and cook till al dente ( 45-60 minutes) depends whether you chose to soak the farro in water over night
  • Drain off any excess liquid
  • While farro is cooking, saute mushrooms, onion and garlic in olive oil
  • When farro is cooked and dained add the mushroom mixture and season to taste
