My Chili Valentine

- 1.5 lbs ground beef (chuck) shopping list
- 1 tsp chili powder shopping list
- 1 tsp paprika shopping list
- 1 tsp garlic powder shopping list
- 1 tsp onion powder shopping list
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (more or less to taste) shopping list
- 1 tsp seasoning salt (Lawry's) shopping list
- 1 cup chopped onion shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- 1 14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes, with liquid shopping list
- 1 8 oz.can tomato sauce shopping list
- 2 7 oz. cans diced mild green chilies, drained shopping list
- 1 15 oz. can pink beans, drained and rinsed shopping list
- 1 15 oz. can red kidney beans, drained and rinsed shopping list
- 1 cup beef stock shopping list
- 1/4 cup A1 steak sauce shopping list
- 2 fresh bay leaves shopping list
- 2 tbsp brown sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp chili powder shopping list
- 1 tsp paprika shopping list
- 1 tsp garlic powder shopping list
- 1 tsp onion powder shopping list
- 1/4 cayenne pepper (more or less to taste) shopping list
- 1 tsp seasoning salt (Lawry's) shopping list
How to make it
- Heat 1/4 cup water in a skillet over medium heat. Brown beef and season with following 6 ingredients. Drain and place in crock pot.
- Add onion, garlic, tomatoes, tomato sauce, chillies, beans, A1, beef stock and bay leaves See Photo. Add remaining seasoning. Mix all together.
- Cook on low for 8 hours.
