- 6 spicy, large sausages(smoked, if possible) shopping list
- 3 slices thick cut bacon, cut down the middle, lengthwise, to create two thin, long strips of yumminess shopping list
- 6 bollo or similar hearty bun/roll shopping list
- 1 cup prepared and warmed refried beans shopping list
- 8oz shredded cheese(I used colby) shopping list
- 3 green onions, diced shopping list
- about 1/4 cup mayo mixed with a few drops of lime juice and a dash of hot sauce shopping list
- favorite mustard(I went with Southwestern) shopping list
- about 1/2 cup salsa shopping list
- simply prepared guacamole(only need a 1/4 cup or so, but may as well dip some chips in the rest of it :) shopping list
How to make it
- Wrap each sausage with one of the bacon half slices, "barber pole" style.
- Grill sausages over high heat until heated through and bacon is done.
- Lightly grill buns/rolls, cut sides down/open just to toast, slightly.
- Serve sausages in the rolls with the refried beans, onions, salsa, cheese and topped with the mustard, lime mayo and guacamole.
