How to make it

  • Cut the paneer to 1/2 inch cubes and keep aside.
  • Mix all the ingredients in the marinade with little water to form a medium consistency paste.
  • Mix the paneer cubes with this marinade, refrigerate it for about 1 hour.
  • Before frying, keep it out for about half an hour.
  • Now fry these paneer cubes in oil on medium heat till crispy.
  • In a separate pan heat about 2 tsp oil, add green chillies, onions, garlic and capsicum one by one and slightly fry them.
  • Add tomato sauce and soya sauce and mix it well. Add salt if needed.
  • Finally add all the fried paneer cubes and mix it well.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with tomato sauce.

    Thanks...Paneer is the non melting cheese, usually available in Indian grocery stores. Tofu can be used as a substitute for this recipe.
