How to make it

  • Heat butter in a pan. When the butter melts add sugar and mix it well.
  • Keep it in a medium heat till sugar starts to melt. Lower the flame and keep on stirring the mixture.
  • Once all the sugar is melted, add salt and mix well.
  • Bring the mixture to boil, add cardamom powder and peanuts.
  • Mix it well and let it boil for a minute.
  • spread silver foil on a flat dish.
  • Turn off the heat and pour this mixture on the silver foil, spread it evenly.
  • Allow it to cool down. Once it becomes brittle, take it out from the foil and break into pieces.
  • sprinkle or toss it with some flour to avoid stickiness.
  • Store it in an air tight container.
