Spicy Loose Meat Sandwiches

- 1 1/2lbs lean ground beef or venison shopping list
- 1 large onion, diced shopping list
- 1 large bell pepper, diced shopping list
- 1-4 hot peppers, sliced or diced(I used hot bananas) shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- about 1/2 cup beef broth shopping list
- 1/4 cup spicy mustard shopping list
- 2T worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1T red wine vinegar shopping list
- several dashes siriracha sauce, or similar hot sauce shopping list
- 3-4T molasses shopping list
- 1 heaping T hot or smoked paprika shopping list
- 1t ground celery(not whole celery seed), optional shopping list
- few dashes liquid smoke shopping list
- 8oz pepper jack cheese, sliced shopping list
- plenty of fresh ground pepper and a lil kosher or sea salt shopping list
For Serving
- sandwich buns/rolls, lettuce, pickle, tomato, mustard, etc for serving. shopping list
How to make it
- Combine all ingredients other than cheese, buns, and "fixings", in a slow cooker and stir making sure to break up the meat the best you can.
- Heat on low setting for 6-8 hours(can go longer).
- Stir again and taste. Re-season as needed.
- Add cheese to the bottom buns and add a big ol' mound of the meat mixture, using a slotted spoon.
- Serve with desired fixings. :)
