How to make it

  • Combine all ingredients other than cheese, buns, and "fixings", in a slow cooker and stir making sure to break up the meat the best you can.
  • Heat on low setting for 6-8 hours(can go longer).
  • Stir again and taste. Re-season as needed.
  • Add cheese to the bottom buns and add a big ol' mound of the meat mixture, using a slotted spoon.
  • Serve with desired fixings. :)
