Steak, Egg And Asparagus Sandwich

- 6 oz cooked steak (I used leftover grilled ribeye) shopping list
- 2 kaiser rolls shopping list
- 2 T butter shopping list
- 2 large eggs shopping list
- 2 slices American cheese shopping list
- 2 large asparagus spears shopping list
- S&P to taste shopping list
How to make it
- You'll probably need two pans to make this work
- First, thinly slice the steak and set aside
- Julienne the asparagus spears (cut the in half, and then slice them the long way into strips)
- Butter the insides of the rolls and grill them in a frying pan at medium high heat
- Once they're done, set them on a plate and add about a tablespoon of butter to the pan and toss the steak and asparagus in together See Photo
- In a separate, nonstick pan, cook two eggs sunny side up, or over easy. You want a soft yolk for this recipe
- To serve, stack the steak on the bottom half of the roll, then a slice of American cheese, followed by the asparagus and topped with the egg See Photo.
- S&P to taste
- Cut the sandwich down the center and allow the yolk to coat it all. See Photo
