Swiss Chard Cauldo

- 1 cup zucchini shopping list
- 1/2 cup onions shopping list
- 2 medium stalks celery shopping list
- 4 cups Chard, Swiss shopping list
- 4 cups Homemade turkey broth shopping list
- 2 cups Purified water shopping list
- 1/4 cup white wine shopping list
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar shopping list
- 8 oz bulk Italian sausage shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper shopping list
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin shopping list
- 1 tsp fennel seed shopping list
How to make it
- Prepare the vegetables. Chop the Swiss chard, zucchini, celery and onion into bite sized pieces.
- Roll the sausage into small meatballs.
- Bring the broth up to boiling and drop the meatballs in. Let that simmer for a couple of minutes to let the meatballs firm up. Add the chopped vegetables.
- Stir in the seasonings, wine and vinegar. Reduce the heat and let simmer gently for 30 minutes.
