Ingredients

How to make it

  • Place marinade ingredients in a zip lock bag
  • Add your salmon and let marinade at least 2 hours
  • Remove from marinade and grill over medium heat till fish is done, turning occasionally
  • Note: I always use a grill liner ( sprayed with cooking oil ) over the grill grates to prevent food from falling through

I really liked this a lot. It looks pretty simple, and it is, but I liked the flavors. I only had one filet so I used 2 Tbs. of each ingredient. Mine marinated for just over 2 hours. I didn't grill - didn't want to turn it on just for one filet - so I broiled. I put it skin side up first, cooked for a couple of minutes so I could peel off the skin. Spooned a bit more marinade on and put it back under the broiler for another couple of minutes. Then flipped and cooked until I just saw a few wisps of smoke coming from my broiler - which meant that brown sugar was just starting to caramelize. Yum. Love that kinda burnt brown sugar. Put some foil on my cookie sheet to catch the drips for easy clean-up, too. Very good and easy to remember. I'm sure I will make this again. Added my picture as well. Posted it in IMI for all to see. :)
