Ingredients

How to make it

  • In a small bowl mix the flour, sugar, milk, vanilla and cinnamon, sit aside.
  • In a microwaveable bowl cut half of the butter and heat until just melted but not bubbling, pour butter into flour mixture.
  • Pour peaches, juice and all into a medium sized baking pan (smaller than a 9x13, I usually use a 9 inch glass souffle dish, but believe it or not a round cake pan will work too.)
  • Dot the top of the peaches with butter.
  • Pour the flour mixture on the top.
  • Using the end of a spoon handle, swirl the batter around in the peaches.
  • Place into a 425 degree oven and cook until the the top of the cobbler is golden brown and the peaches are bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool.
  • Serve with whipped cream and vanilla ice cream, it is oh so yum, yum, yummy!
  • Note: Blueberries are also excellent in this recipe. Just replace the peaches with 2 and a half cups of blueberries and omit the cinnamon.
