Strawberry Cobbler

Found this recipe online and had to try it! Rich, buttery cobbler that is perfect with a scoop of vanilla ice cream! Easy and quick to make, too. What more can you want from a dessert? We had devoured it before I remembered to take a picture of a serving with ice cream!
Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh strawberries shopping list
- 3 T orange juice shopping list
- 1 1/2 c all purpose flour shopping list
- 1 c sugar, divided shopping list
- 1 stick cold butter shopping list
- 1/2 stick butter, softened shopping list
- 1 c brown sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350
- Wash and slice strawberries, discarding caps
- Combine strawberries, OJ, and 1/2 c sugar in a medium pot and heat until sugar is dissolved
- Pour into a greased 2 1/2 qt baking dish
- In another bowl, combine flour, 1/2 c sugar, and 1/2 c butter (1 stick); cut together with fork or pastry cutter
- Spread over strawberries
- Soften 1/2 stick butter and mix with 1 c brown sugar.
- Drop by dollops on top of flour mixture
- Bake at 350 for 45 min to an hour, until golden and bubbly. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
