How to make it

  • Drain pineapple: reserve 2 tbsp. juice. Set aside.
  • Place pineapple, lemon juice, lime juice, sugar and reserved pineapple juice in blender. Cover and blend until smooth.
  • Pour into two 1-quart freezer zipped bags. Store bags flat in freezer. Freeze 1 1/2 hours or until slushy.

  • Return to freezer until completely frozen, about 1 hour and serve.

It's very good. Another idea is to save the remainder of the pineapple juice from the crushed pineapple in the fridge. When the Dole Whip is frozen, place it in a glass with the pineapple juice to make a Dole Whip float.

Just made a batch last night. It was fantastic. Best served right after the 1 hour freeze. I was surprised how quick and easy it was to make. I hopefully will be heading to Disney in Spring 2010, to see how this compares, but for now, this is a great dessert that I am sure everyone will enjoy!
