How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Peel and section oranges then cut into small pieces.
  • Combine orange pieces and orange juice.
  • Beat eggs then add oranges, vanilla and almond extract.
  • Mix well.
  • Sift dry ingredients together and add all at once then pour into greased and floured rectangular pan.
  • Combine brown sugar, chocolate chips and nuts then sprinkle on top of cake and bake for 45 minutes

    This cake is a total WINNER! moist, crunchy top, no added fat except the eggs. Made half recipe the 1st time. This time, I didn't have enuf orange sections; dried cherries, sliced were subbed. Instead of choc. chips, I had a Toblerone candy bar, and beat a 3-section piece with a rolling pin.

    I will always use this recipel Delightful, 5 forks
