Crunchy Caramel Banana Bread

- 1/4 cup canola oil shopping list
- 1 cup caramel-sauce.html">Simple Salted Caramel Sauce shopping list
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract shopping list
- egg-replacer.html">Homemade Ener G Egg Replacer for 1 egg, prepared shopping list
- 4 mashed bananas shopping list
- 1/4 cup peach-butter.html">Allspice Peach Butter (or apple butter) shopping list
- 1 3/4 cups whole wheat flour shopping list
- 1/4 cup rolled oats shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 tsp cinnamon shopping list
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg shopping list
- 1 tsp baking soda shopping list
- 1/2 tsp Corn Free Baking Powder shopping list
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds shopping list
- 1/4 cup sunflower seeds shopping list
- 2 tbsp whole flax seeds shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat the oven to 325F and grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the oil, caramel, vanilla, egg replacer, bananas and peach butter. Beat well.
- Add the flour, oats, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking soda and baking powder and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the almonds, sunflower seeds and flax seeds.
- Bake for 1 hour. Cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then turn out and cool completely on a wire rack.
