Ingredients

How to make it

  • Sift dry ingredients in a large bowl.
  • In another bowl, blend with mixer or whisk, the eggs, oil, milk and vanilla
  • Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and beat with mixer the wet ingredients until well blended.
  • Batter will be somewhat thick
  • Stir in the blueberries
  • Now this batter can be divided into cake pans, an oblong pan or a spring form pan
  • Bake in a 350F preheated oven until tested done in the center with a wooden toothpick
  • The spring form took about an hour to bake, other pans will take much less baking time
  • Cool cake on rack to warm
  • Mix glaze ingredients together.
  • Pour over warm cake and let drip down sides ( may want to poke a few holes in the cake if desired )
  • Cool cake completely
  • Cake may be frozen if desired

I have never made a glaze with heavy cream before, GOOD stuff! I think I used close to 2 1/2 cups of blueberries. I used Penzeys Ceylon Cinnamon, which is so far some of the best cinnamon I've had! Added more in the IMI -------> Blueberry Kuchen With Cinnamon /glaze
