Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 225. Please note: The oven should not be hotter than 250 degrees.
  • Remove silver skin form underside of ribs
  • Then rub the trimmed rib racks with the spice mixture
  • Wrap tightly with plastic wrap
  • Put on baking sheet and roast for 2 hours
  • Remove from the oven and rest for 10 minutes See Photo
  • Turn oven onto broil
  • Remove plastic wrap and put back on baking sheet
  • Coat with BBQ sauce
  • Place under broiler until the sauce is caramelized, 3 - 4 minutes
  • Remove ribs from broiler and rest for a few minutes
  Close

    You're welcome. I do hope you try them again and I would suggest the dry rub as it's easily become one of my favorites, especially on pork and chicken.

    Ok thanks for that info. I think I might of had other issues, as in rushing the meat before cooking too much. I'm going to give this another shot.

    I used my tabletop confection oven the first time and then used the oven with them on the middle rack the second time. They pretty much came out the same.

    I did this same thing on Saturday and while they were good, I didn't think they were as good as what I had been doing. I think I should of had these on the bottom rack of the oven, instead of up a notch or two. Where did you have yours, or do you use convection?
