Caprese Pasta Salad

- 1 pound penne pasta (this can be increased if you have many guests, or decreased if you want more intense flavour. shopping list
- 6 ripe roma tomatoes, insides removed (cherry tomatoes will work, but it is more labour intensive to remove the insides.) shopping list
- 3/4 pound fresh mozarella shopping list
- 3/4 hard salami shopping list
- 1 bunch basil, chopped roughly shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Boil pasta per instructions on package.
- While pasta is boiling, cut tomato, salami, and mozarella into bite-sized pieces.
- When pasta is cooked, drain and coat lightly with extra virgin olive oil or butter.
- Add all ingredients to pasta, toss, and serve warm.
