Shepherds Pie

Served with corn and peas this is a hearty meal.
Ingredients
- 1 Sm Onion, Chopped shopping list
- 1 Med. carrot, Chopped shopping list
- 1 Tbs Oil shopping list
- 2 Pounds lean ground beef shopping list
- ¼ Cup flour shopping list
- 1/4 Cup oatmeal shopping list
- 2 cloves of garlic, micro planed or finely chopped shopping list
- Salt and pepper shopping list
- 2 Tsp Better than Bouillon or beef stock shopping list
- 1 ½ Cups hot water, or more shopping list
- Few drops of Worcestershire sauce or to taste shopping list
- 5 extra large potatoes, cooked and mashed. About 3 cups. shopping list
How to make it
- Saute the onion, garlic and carrot in the oil. Add ground beef and brown. Drain off the excess oil'
- Add the flour and oats and mix well. Add the worcestershire, salt and pepper.
- Put the Bouillon in the hot water and and stir. Add to the meat mixture and cook until it thickens.
- Put the meat mixture in an ovenproof dish and top with whipped potatoes. Sprinkle with paprika and bake in oven @325 for 25 - 30 minutes.
