Crockpot Cherry Crisp

- 1-21 ounce can cherry pie filling OR apple pie filling shopping list
- 2/3 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 cup quick cooking oats shopping list
- 1/2 cup flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 1/3 cup butter, softened shopping list
- whipped cream or ice cream to top shopping list
How to make it
- Lighly butter a 3 1/2 quart crock pot.
- Pour pie filling slowly into the crock pot.
- In a bowl, combine the dry ingredients and add the vanilla.
- Mix well.
- Cut in the butter with a fork or pastry cutter.
- Sprinkle the crumbs over the pie filling.
- Cook for 5 hours on low.
- Top with whipped cream or ice cream.
- Note: If using apple pie filling you may want to add a sprinkle of cinnamon on top.
