Ingredients

How to make it

  • Cover potatoes with water in a large saucepan. Bring to a boil. Continue boiling until potatoes are very tender, about 25 min.
  • Drain potatoes and return to pan. Set on low. Smash potatoes while adding milk, horseradish and salt until combined.
  • Check horseradish for pungency as an open jar loses some over time. Adjust to taste.

    wonderful tatters. Now I only had small tatters so as I mashed the milk in noticed that I only used about 1/4 cup milk so cut the horseradish back and used 2 tsp. LOL I am the only one who likes horseradish so I was going to cut back. It gave a great flavour that family loved. Will increase next time. thank you Elle

    We love horseradish..this sounds amazing Ellie!

    I thought horseradish was just for roast beef. It is delicious in the potatoes, gives it a very nice tang. I used So Delicious cream for coffee in place of the milk, and the horseradish i had was not extra hot, but it tasted mighty fine. Will be making these again, thanks Ellie for the recipe.
