Sour Cherry Pudding Cake

- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 egg (medium to large) shopping list
- 1/2 cup milk shopping list
- 1/4 cup soft shortening shopping list
- 1 teaspoon baking powder shopping list
- 1 1/4 cups AP flour shopping list
- 1 1/4 cups sour cherries (pitted) shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees (F)
- Grease or spray an 8 or 9 inch baking dish.
- Mix together everything except the cherries until well blended.
- Gently fold the cherries into the mixture.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Best served warm. Top with vanilla ice cream or whipped topping or just eat as is. Delish.
