Ingredients

How to make it

  • Use a food processor to crush the cookies to a fine pulp (or put cookies in a heavy duty freezer type zip-lock baggie and crush them finely with a rolling pin or flat side of a meat tenderizer).
  • Transfer crushed cookies to a bowl and stir in melted butter, until blended. Press cookie/butter mixture FIRMLY into the bottom of a 9 x 13 baking dish.
  • Beat together the powdered sugar, cream cheese and 1 cup of the Cool Whip until well blended. Spread this mixture over the cookie layer in the baking dish.
  • Mix together pudding mix, half-and-half, and 1 more cup of Cool Whip. Spread this mixture over the cream cheese layer.
  • Lay the sliced strawberries over the pudding layer.
  • Use the remainder of the Cool Whip to "frost" the fresh strawberry layer.
  • Cover dish and keep refrigerator until ready to serve.
  • Garnish each serving with one whole strawberry, if desired.
