How to make it

  • In large soup pot, sauté onions, celery, bell pepper and sausage until sausage is browned
  • Stir in broths and bring to boil
  • Stir in tomatoes and lower heat to medium high
  • Stir in jambalaya mix and cook over med heat for 15-20 minutes
  • Stir in chicken, spice and hot sauce and continue to cook another 15 minutes
  • Before serving stir in parsley
  • You can also add diced ham to this if desired

    Looks an interesting recipe but it's hard to judge the flavor combo as some of us can't get Zatarain's jambalaya mix. Make that a lot of us can't get it. What's in it?
