Tuna Cakes Recipe
This originally was a weight watcher recipe. Everyone in my family loved it including my neices nephew and my best friend and her husband. I am not a hot tuna fan, this is so good, so easy. Enjoy

Ingredients
  • 6 OUNCES TUNA, DRAINED
  • 12 SALTINES, CRUMBLED
  • 1 EGG, BEATEN
  • ¼ CUP SKIM MILK
  • 1 TABLESPOON MINCED ONION
  • 1 TEASPOON CHOPPED PARSLEY
  • ½ TEASPOON WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE
  • PEPPER & SALT TO TASTE
  • 1 TEASPOON MELTED MARGARINE TO FRY CAKES(I use more)

Directions
  1. MIX ALL TOGETHER
  2. SHAPE INTO 6 EVEN MEDIUM THICKENESS PATTIES.
  3. FRY IN 10” SKILLET ON MEDIUM HIGH HEAT.

I bet these are terrific!!! Not to mention easy on the wallet :)


I found it was very moist, I used bread crumbs to dry it out, and added some of my own seasoning. they were kinda hard to work with, break apart easily. And they didn't look very appetizing, I think my husband was actually afraid to try it, but we were both pleasantly surprised they were simply wonderful, very tasty. thanks for posting
