Served to King George VI and Queen Elizabeth when they visited the 1939 World's Fair in New York. Orginally published in Norman Siegel's column of the "Cleveland Press" on June 8, 1939.

Ingredients
  • 2 bottles white grape juice
  • 4 pts. ginger ale
  • 4 pts. lemon juice
  • 4 pts. fruit syrup
  • 2 qts. champagne
  • slices lemons, oranges,limes
  • slices pineapple and other fruits

Directions
  1. Mix together, chill and serve.

Wow, I love old recipes, thanks for sharing. I'm going to have to try this. I'm going to have to figure how to shrink the recipe down LOL as I don't even know 40 people! but that will be the fun of this recipe.
