Ingredients
  • 1 bunch fresh asparagus, ends cut
  • 2 tbsp black sesame seeds, toasted (lightly)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • kosher salt, to taste

Directions
  1. Boil a large saucepan with about ½ inch of water, then add the asparagus and cook until tender, yet crisp, around 5 minutes. Drain, and rinse with cold water. Return the pan to the stove on a medium heat. Pour in oil, and spread around in the pan. Remove the excess water off of the asparagus, and toss in oil along with the sesame seeds, (and salt) to reheat.
