Cuban Yucca Recipe

This a traditional Cuban side dish. Made with the Yucca Root. The taste has a lot of garlic and lemon.

Ingredients
- 1 package of frozen Yucca or
- 3 Fresh Yucca Root
- 1/2 Cup of lemon Juice
- 1 small clove of Garlic
Directions
- If Yucca is frozen open package and boil until tender.
- If Yucca is fresh peal root and boil until tender
- Chop Garlic into small pieces
- Place Yucca in casarole dish then lemon juice and garlic
- Place lid on dish and bake in oven 450 for 20mins

I have Yuccas coming out of my ears, but it never occurred to me that I could harvest them to eat. Will be looking at my garden a little differently in the morning. Can't wait to try this out!
