How to make it

  • Cook the potatoes and cool.Cut into large chunks.
  • Cube the ham. You can use slices and cut in strips.
  • Mix together and add the pickles, capers, onions.
  • Mix together the oil and vinegar. Add the salt and pepper.
  • Gently stir into the salad.
  • Add can of bouillon a little at a time. How much you add will depend on how dry your potatoes are and how creamy you like the salad.
  • Refrigerate at least 2 hours so the flavours can blend.

    I made this a couple weeks ago and forgot to get back to you.. I liked it..and it is great as you can take it and not worry about the mayo spoiling.. I make one kind of like it with steamed green beans.. Good post.. and good for my waist!

    I am the biggest potato salad fan that ever lived .I love it .But I must say this recipe just doesnt do it for me.I guess I am a little olf fashion when it comes to my potato salad .Im sorry .
