Snickers Ice Box Pie

- Crust: shopping list
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted shopping list
- 2 cups chocolate wafer cookies, crushed shopping list
- Filling: shopping list
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened shopping list
- ¾ cup confectioner’s sugar shopping list
- 1 cup heavy cream shopping list
- ⅔ cup creamy peanut butter shopping list
- 1 ¼ cups Snickers bars, chopped shopping list
How to make it
- Crust:
- In a medium bowl combine the butter and crumbs.
- Press firmly into a pie dish.
- Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for one hour.
- Filling:
- In a large bowl, use an electric mixer on low and beat the cream cheese until smooth.
- Add the sugar and beat well.
- In a separate bowl, use a wooden spoon to beat the cream into stiff peaks.
- Stir the whipped cream into the cream cheese.
- Stir until no lumps remain.
- Cover and place into a refrigerator until ready to use.
- Remove the crust for use.
- Carefully spread the peanut butter as a thin layer over the bottom of the crust and about ½ inch way up on the sides.
- Sprinkle ¾ cup of the Snickers over the peanut butter.
- Spread filling over the Snickers and peanut butter, smoothing as you go.
- Sprinkle remaining Snickers on top and freeze to set.
