Brown Rice With Fresh Parsley

- 1 cup water shopping list
- 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth shopping list
- 1 cup brown rice or equivalent of instant brown rice to make 4 servings shopping list
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley or other fresh herb shopping list
How to make it
- 1. Heat water and broth in saucepan. Stir in rice. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer, without stirring or lifting lid, until rice is tender and all liquid has been absorbed, 40 to 45 minutes, or follow directions on instant rice box.
- 2. Remove pan from heat and let stand 5 minutes. To serve, fluff rice with fork. Stir in parsley.
