Easy Quick Cake

This is a quick easy cake to make.... It makes a pretty presentation..
Ingredients
- 1 cake mix, any flavor shopping list
- 1 large box vanilla pudding shopping list
- 16 oz Cool Whip shopping list
- 8 oz cream cheese shopping list
- fruit pie filling shopping list
How to make it
- Prepare cake as a sheet cake.
- Use 1/2 cup less milk in pudding.
- Cool cake and split lengthwise.
- Place bottom half back in baking pan or in large baking dish.
- Combine pudding, cream cheese, and 1/2 of cool whip; spread over bottom half of cake.
- Place top half of cake over this mixture.
- Spread remaining cool whip over cake.
- Top with pie filling; marble with butter knife.
- Variations:
- chocolate cake with cherry pie filling.
- white cake with any pie filling
- pineapple cake with 1 can drained crushed pineapple mixed with pudding mixture, top with coolwhip and toasted coconut.
