This is a quick easy cake to make.... It makes a pretty presentation..

Ingredients
  • 1 cake mix, any flavor
  • 1 large box vanilla pudding
  • 16 oz cool whip
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • fruit pie filling

Directions
  1. Prepare cake as a sheet cake.
  2. Use 1/2 cup less milk in pudding.
  3. Cool cake and split lengthwise.
  4. Place bottom half back in baking pan or in large baking dish.
  5. Combine pudding, cream cheese, and 1/2 of cool whip; spread over bottom half of cake.
  6. Place top half of cake over this mixture.
  7. Spread remaining cool whip over cake.
  8. Top with pie filling; marble with butter knife.
  9. Variations:
  10. chocolate cake with cherry pie filling.
  11. white cake with any pie filling
  12. pineapple cake with 1 can drained crushed pineapple mixed with pudding mixture, top with coolwhip and toasted coconut.
