Blackberry And Apple Crumble

- 5 cooking apples, shopping list
- 3 or 4 handfuls of blackberry (more if you want) shopping list
- 100g sugar, shopping list
- 200g plain or self-raising flour [doesnt make much of a difference] shopping list
- 100g butter shopping list
- 100g caster sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Chop & peel the apples, put into a saucepan with a small amount of water and stew until slightly soft.
- Add in the blackberries and the sugar and stir for about 30 seconds.
- Pour into a oven proof dish that you wish to make your crumble in.
- In a mixing bowl, sieve the flour, add the sugar and stir.
- Add the butter bit by bit and rub in using the rubbing in method until it looks like bread crumbs.
- Tip the crumble mixture ontop of the fruit mixture in the dish until all the mixture is used up.
- Place into a pre-heated oven of 180 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
- Serving sugestions: Pour cream or natural yogurt over the top when served.
