How to make it

  • Combine everything except brats in a shallow baking dish and mix well.
  • Put in brats and take some of the beer marinade and pour over the top of brats several times.
  • Cover and refrigerate for several hours periodically pouring the marinade over top of brats.
  • When ready to cook place everything in a large pan and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Take the brats out of the marinade and grill until brown and firm.
  • Put the grilled brats back into the simmering marinade and simmer until ready to serve.
  • Serve on hotdog buns or French rolls.

    I have some home made brats in the freezer and I think this will do them the justice they desrve. Thanks for the recipe.
