A friend of mine gave me this recipe, it's been a hit from the first time I made it. A family favorite ever since.

Ingredients

1 lb. cooked shrimp shopping list
1 cup cooked rice shopping list
1/4 cup butter shopping list
1 (4oz) can mushrooms shopping list
1/4 cup chopped onion shopping list
1 Tablespoon A-1 Steak Sauce shopping list
1 can shrimp Soup shopping list
1/4 cup milk shopping list

How to make it

Brown onion, and mushroom in Butter.
Stir in rice and shrimp in a 1 1/2 quart casserole.
Mix soup, milk and steak sauce. Add to casserole and mix.
Bake art 400* 20 to 30 minutes

Iv`e never heard of shrimp soup before..who makes it?

To keep from confusing anyone I changed the oleo to Butter in this recipe :)

Another name for oleo, would be margarine. You can also use Butter.

I'm on the same page as Annastasia , I haven't a clue either could someone fill us in as tp what oleo is .

I just have to ask...what exactly is oleo?
I'm sure whatever it is...and if we have it where I live...it would be called something else.

Awwwwwwwh I'm so glad I could replace your lost recipe, I know how that is when you lose a family favorite. I lost one of my sister's Slush recipes and haven't been able to put my hands on it nor find one like it yet. Her's had frozen pineapple juice and it seems like two kinds of liquor plus green tea etc.
:( Of course she passed away little over a year ago, so I'm kinda up a creek without a paddle so to speak, unless I luck out like you did. Glad I posted this one since I reached someone that really had a special need for it :)
