Ingredients
  • 1 13 oz can of chicken broth, low sodium
  • 1 cup of half and half
  • 1 large ripe avocado
  • 1 teaspoon of seasoned salt
  • 2 tablespoons of lemon juice
  • Watercress sprigs (if you can find fresh) Sometime, I use cilantro but not everyone likes cilantro. The peppery watercress is best.

Directions
  1. In blender, combine chicken broth and cream. Peel avocado and cut in chunks. Add to blender with seasoned salt and lemon juice.
  2. Blend the ingredients until well blended. Pour into glass bowl, cover and chill for 3 hours. Serve in small chilled bowls and garnish with watercress.

Oh to have a tree with one of my favs.Will be making this with haas while my honey is away for the weekend golfing and share it with my girlfriend.My better half isnt crazy for green.His loss.I do sneak in many good things he has no idea about.

Oh yummm.. wish I had avocados in my yard. It's just too darn hot down here though.


Well, I live farther south than Deltona and we have always had avocados in our yard. I think Deltona is too far NORTH for Avocados in the yard. I mash them up and freeze them to use later so I will try this.
