How to make it

  • Preheat the oven to 450.
  • Mix the flour, baking powder and salt in a medium mixing bowl.
  • Shake the whipping cream vigorously.
  • Add to the flour mixture, stirring until a soft dough forms.
  • Pat the dough 1/2 inch thick on a lightly floured surface.
  • Cut with a 2 inch biscuit cutter.
  • Arrange 1 inch apart on a lightly greased 11 x 17 inch baking sheet.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Serve immediately.

    These biscuits are wonderful, my recipe calls for only two ingredients self-rising flour and whipping cream - no need for the baking powder or salt with the self-rising flour.
