Ripe Tomato Relish - Very Old Recipe - From My Wonderful MIL

This is a recipe I got from my mother-in-law over 20 years ago. She was the best gardener I have ever known and one of the best cooks. She taught me everything I know about canning. Enjoy
Ingredients
- 24 ripe tomatoes peeled and chopped shopping list
- 6 sweet peppers chopped shopping list
- 6 hot peppers chopped shopping list
- 8 white onions chopped shopping list
- 2-1/2 cups granulated sugar shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice shopping list
- 1 pint vinegar shopping list
- 3 teaspoons salt shopping list
- 2 teaspoons celery salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon cloves shopping list
How to make it
- Combine all ingredients and cook for 5 hours stirring often. Put in sterile jars and seal.
