How to make it

  • Line jelly roll pan, 151/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 in. with waxed paper.
  • Heat chocolate chips, shortening and cinnamon over low heat.
  • Stir constantly until smooth.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Dip each fruit half-way into chocolate mixture.
  • Place in pan.
  • Refrigerate uncovered until chocolate is firm, about 30 min.
  • 3 to 4 dozen confections

    mmmm yum ! i remember for my aunts wedding i was in charge of the chocolate dipped strawberries - i dipped more that 300 of them and people hogged them down lol .
