Fettucine With Mock Crab

- 1 pkg. refrigerator fettucini shopping list
- 1 onion sliced in half rings shopping list
- 1 stick unsalted butter shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream shopping list
- 1/2 c. parmesan or romano grated cheese shopping list
- 1/2 tsp finely sliced fresh basil shopping list
- 1/2 tsp chopped cilantro shopping list
- 1 zucchini quartered and sliced paper thin shopping list
- 8 oz mock crabmeat shredded shopping list
- 2 white large button mushrooms stem removed sliced paper thin shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- In frying pan place butter until melted
- start salted water for pasta
- add onion, zucchini and mushooms to pan cook over medium heat
- saute until onions are clear 2 minutes
- add basil cilantro salt and pepper to taste
- slowly add cream
- add crab
- heat TO boiling
- remove from stove
- add cheese
- cook pasta 4 minutes
- remove to platter
- pour sauce over and gently mix
- garnish with italian parsley
- sprinkle with hot red pepper flakes(optional)

I grew-up on this type of meal coming from a Italian-French family and post world war 2 baby. I can not understand why you did not get this recipe up to a 5 rating. Hi 5 from me. I hope this gets up there.
