Root Beer Float Cookies

- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1 cup butter or marg. softened shopping list
- 1/2 cup buttermilk ( I always just sour milk with vinegar) shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 2 tea root beer extract shopping list
- 1 tea vanilla shopping list
- 4 cups flour shopping list
- 1 tea baking soda shopping list
- 1/4 tea salt shopping list
- frosting shopping list
- 1 cup powdered sugar shopping list
- 1 tblsp half -n- half shopping list
- 2 tea butter softened shopping list
- 1 tea root beer extract shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oven to 375
- Lightly grease cookie sheets
- Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine sugars, butter, buttermilk, eggs, root beer, and vanilla. Beat at medium speed until well blended. Add flour, soda, salt. Beat at low speed until soft dough forms. Drop heaping teaspoons on cookie sheets.
- Bake 10-12 min.
- Cool completely
- Mix frosting ingredients
- Beat until smooth
- Spread on cookies
- Let dry before storing
