The jam is home made, just place about 1 cup of blackberries into a saucepan, with 1/4 cup or more water, some honey and a half of lemon squeezed. Bring to boil and mash with masher.. Strain- place back into saucepan bringing to a rolling boil until bubbling.. Add 1 tbsp any type of flour and stir.. Shut off heat let sit until cake is done.

    Easy jam!

Sounds awesome. I love blackberries. I have wild ones growing in the back of my property. I usually make blackberry cobbler with them, but I just found a new recipe for them. Thanks.

Yum. This sounds terrific. I love olive-oil cakes. And I love one-bowl recipes! I pretty much convert all my cakes and desserts to one-pot style, and so far all my recipes have worked out fine that way.
