How to make it

  • In a large bowl, combine apples, pears, dates, celery, bananas. Add lemon juice and toss very lightly to keep the fruit from browning.
  • Mix the mayo, honey, lemon peel and allspice. Add to the fruit.
  • Toss very lightly. Sprinkle with chopped nuts. Refrigerate.
  • Serve in lettuce cups or plain.
