Honey Garlic Meatballs Recipe

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 small onion, grated

1/2 sweet red pepper, finely chopped

1/4 c dry bread crumbs

2 tsp soya sauce

2 tsp worcesterschire sauce

1/4 tsp pepper

1/4 tsp salt

1 egg

Sauce:

1 c beef stock

4-6 cloves garlic (grated or minced)

6 tsp honey

dash hot pepper sauce

2 tbsp cornstarch

2-3 green onions, sliced

Directions

In a large bowl mix beef with egg, onion, red pepper, bread crumbs, soy sauce, worcesterschire sauce, salt and pepper.

Form into meatballs and place on greased or lined baking sheet.

Bake at 450 for about 25 minutes.

Meanwhile, in large skillet combine beef stock, garlic, honey, cornstarch, and hot pepper sauce. Cook until thickened.

Add meatballs and the juices then stir to coat.

Sprinkle green onions over top and serve.

Okay tried it. I added mozzarella cheese to the ground beef before making the meatballs. I can't say that it actually added anything but just the thought of cheese in the meat made me happy.
