How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Process or beat the cream cheese, eggs, sugar and lemon juice together until smooth and creamy.
  • Pour into pie crust and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for about 25 minutes or until the center is just firm.
  • Beat the sugar into the sour cream and pour on the top of the pie.
  • Return pie to oven for 7 more minutes.
  • Remove and allow to cool down some.
  • Garnish with grated nutmeg and refrigerate for 2 hours to chill thoroughly.

    when you bake this cheesecake does the already made
    crust burn. I have a dinner Thursday night and I was
    going to make a no-bake cheesecake, but this sounds good too.
