How to make it

  • Start by putting 6 eggs on to boil, about 3 mins. per egg over med. heat.
  • take chipped beef from pack, chop beef into small pieces and put in pot of water to boil use about 2 cups of water, you ll be adding it to your sauce later.,again on med heat.low heat to melt butter____
  • now we start the sauce,put your 2 sticks of butter in a deep pan , melt gently when butter has melted start adding your flour little at at time stirring constantly you,ll get a thick roux, take off heat start adding milk slowly use a whisk to break roux. keep whisking till sooth.now add chipped beef and the water you boiled it in,again easy does it.
  • then peel and thinly slice your boiled eggs and add to roux
  • put back on low heat stir gently till all is heated together.
  • i fry the other 6 eggs sunny side up and plate them.
  • toast your bread and whallaaaa!! i love mine with toast on the bottom then the fried egg with the creamed chipped beef over the top,
  • then just have a great day!!!!

    I love creamed chipped beef, this is way different than what mom would make. She never did the eggs, but I'm a willing convert. YUMMO, ditto from me.

    YUMM-O lol...I like that way too..but I also like it with hard boiled eggs added to the chipped beef and let them "hang-out over there"til the biscuits get done :) lol
