How to make it

  • All ingredients in this sauce is variable so don't be afraid to "play" with it
  • add all wet ingredients to a heavy sauce pan
  • cook over medium heat until it comes to a soft boil
  • add dry ingredients
  • continue to cook over medium/ low heat
  • brown meat and drain, set aside
  • in same pan, melt butter and slightly cook mushroom and onion
  • add to sauce once mushroom and onion are soft
  • now add meat
  • increase heat and bring to a rolling boil
  • reduce heat and simmer for approximately 2 hours
  • serve over your favorite pasta and enjoy : )
