Cranberry Pearl Onions

- 2 (16 ounce) bags frozen pearl onions, thawed shopping list
- 4 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 4 tablespoons oil shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups cranberry juice shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 (16 ounce) can jellied cranberry sauce shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice shopping list
How to make it
- Pat onions dry.
- In large saucepan, heat oil and butter.
- Gently brown onions in oil mixture. (This will have to be done in batches.)
- Set onions aside.
- Add remaining ingredients to saucepan.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer until thickened and syrupy.
- Return onions to saucepan, toss to coat and heat through.
