Pickled Mushrooms

- 1 cup cider vinegar shopping list
- 1 cup water shopping list
- 1/2 cup EVOO (extra virgin olive oil) shopping list
- 2 garlic cloves, crushed shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp thyme leaves shopping list
- 6 whole cloves shopping list
- 6 peppercorns shopping list
- 1 bay leaf shopping list
- 1 lb. fresh button mushrooms shopping list
How to make it
- In sauce pan over medium heat add all ingredients EXCEPT for mushrooms. Bring to boil, reduce to low, cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Pour mixture over cleaned mushrooms. Put into good container (mason jar, old jars you have kept or good plastic one) and chill in fridge.
- Let marinate for a couple of days before eating for more flavor.
