Chocolate Potato Cake Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups flour

1/2 cup cocoa

2 tsp. baking powder

1/2 tsp. salt

1/2 tsp. cinnamon

1 cup shortening

2 cups sugar

4 eggs

1 tsp. vanilla

1 cup mashed potatoes

1/3 cup milk

1 cup chopped nuts

Directions

Sift together flour, cocoa, baking powder, salt and cinnamon.

Cream shortening and sugar.

Add eggs, vanilla and potatoes.

Add flour mixture alternately with milk.

Stir in nuts.

Pour into greased 9x13 pan.

Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
